Patrick Hemingway Celebrates 80 Years

The last living son of Ernest Hemingway celebrated his 80th birthday on June 28th, 2008. Scott Simon of NPR spoke to Patrick about growing older, being a Hemingway, and his role in preserving his father's legacy.

In the interview, Patrick Hemingway discusses many topics including the origins of the name "Papa," Ernest Hemingway's greatest literary work (in Patrick's opinion), and the genetic predisposition for suicide in the Hemingway family.
