Hilary Hemingway is the daughter of Leicester Hemingway (only brother of Ernest Hemingway) and Doris Dunning.

Hilary is an author and award-winning screenwriter, who co-wrote the screenplay for the 2010 film, Hemingway & Fuentes. She has also worked for Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures and written for The Miami Herald and Harper's Bazaar. Her books include Hunting with Hemingway (2000) and Hemingway in Cuba (2003).

Hilary is married to fellow author Jeff Lindsay and they currently live in South Florida.
